Q:What kind of metal are you using on the production models? Will there be a problem with rust developing?

A:QuietStove is constructed with corrosion resistant materials.

Q:Can I leave QuietStove in place on my stove when I pack it up, or will it need to be removed and replaced after every use?
A:QuietStove can be left in place. QuietStove will need to be removed on stoves that require manual pricking to clean the jet (mainly when using Kerosene).

Q:Why does my QuietStove fit loosely in my stove?

A:QuietStove is designed to fit loosely so that it can be removed to service the stove.  If we made QuietStove fit tightly it may be very difficult to remove after being fired.

Q:If soot builds up on QuietStove is there a recommended cleaning procedure?

A:Mineral spirits or paint thinner works well.

Q:What type of fuels are compatible with the QuietStove Burners?

A:QuietStove is compatible with canister gas, kerosene, and white gas.

Q:What is your return policy?

A:All of our products have a 90 day return policy.  Please contact us for an RMA number. Upon receipt of the returned item we will refund the complete purchase price.

Q:What are the steps to install Quietstove into my stove?

A:Remove the flame spreader plate and set Quietstove in the stove's bell housing.  To remove the burner wait for it to completely cool down and then pull it out of the bell housing.

Q:Why is my Quietstove stuck in the bell housing of my stove?

A:This happens when the bell housing expanded as the stove reaches operating temperature.  The burner likely slipped down in to the bell housing just a bit.  When the bell housing cooled, it then grips Quietstove.  If you would like to remove Quietstove you can heat up the stove again.  Turn it off and remove Quietstove with a pair of pilers or similar tool.  You may want to place a damp cloth on the QuietStove so that your piler jaws do not dimple or scratch  Quietstove face/holes.
